I’m thrilled to say the Nashville Packer Backers will continue its record of meeting for every Packers game, despite the challenges the pandemic has thrown at us. However, because of COVID-19, we must change the way we meet to ensure the health and safety of our beloved members and guests. Here’s what you need to know.
Ordinarily, we welcome everyone and fit as many fans as possible into our room to enjoy the game. Unfortunately, this year we must limit room capacity to 80. This restriction means there are three ways you can enjoy the game with us.
Season TicketsSold Out– If you buy a season ticket you will get a reserved seat for every Packers game through the Super Bowl. If you buy your seat before September 14, you will also get one of our 2020 t-shirts. The Go Pack Go COVID design let’s people know you braved the pandemic to back the Pack. To purchase season tickets, click this link, select your seats from the map of the room and pay online. You’ll receive your tickets electronically. Bring them to the club and exchange them for a laminated pass with your name and seat number on it. During the season if you can’t make it to a game and want to share the club experience with a friend, just lend them your pass. Just make sure they’ll give it back. 🙂
Overflow Seating – We have opened overflow seating in the room across the hall from the main club. It features comfortable seating, tables and two large screens with the game. Food and drinks are available from the cafe. There is no charge to sit in overflow seating.
Watch from a Bowling Lane – If the club is full, you still have a way to watch the game. You can reserve a bowling lane and ask a Franklin Family Entertainment Center staff person to put the game on the screens at your lane. You can eat, drink, bowl and watch the Pack!
Mask? No Mask?
The club will comply with all mandates from Williamson County and the State of Tennessee. At the time of this writing, masks are not required. However, we recommend wearing one at the club when you’re not eating or drinking as a show of respect to your fellow Packers fans.
The NFL draft is coming to Nashville April 25-27 and the Nashville Packer Backers plan to be there to watch and celebrate as our team selects future stars. Here’s what you need to know.
The Draft The draft is a three-day sports and entertainment extravaganza taking place in downtown Nashville from a stage set up on First Avenue at the end of lower Broadway. When teams aren’t picking players, country music stars will be pickin’ guitars. Tim McGraw will perform Friday night and Dierks Bentley on Saturday. You can see the entire schedule here. They’re closing off the street and expecting 100,000 people.
Packers Fan’s Home Base The Nashville Packer Backers are making the Florida Georgia Line House (FGL House, http://fglhouse.com/ ) our home base for the draft and invite Packers fans visiting Nashville for the draft to join us. FGL House (which will stand for Future Green Bay Legends during the draft) is in an ideal location. At 120 3rd Ave South, its just off the madness of Broadway, but a short three block walk to the main stage so you’ll never miss a Packers pick.
What to Wear Nashville Packer Backers should show their team spirit and hometown pride by wearing a Nashville Packer Backers shirt. It doesn’t matter which one. Just pick your favorite and prepare to be the envy of visiting Packers fans.
NFL Fan Mobile Pass If you want to get up close at the draft, you’ll need the NFL’s free Fan Mobile Pass. Here’s how the NFL describes it. “Fans can follow the 2019 NFL Draft action by downloading the Fan Mobile Pass app. The app will serve as the central hub for information and updates on NFL Draft Experience and concert series. Fan Mobile Pass also offers fans a chance to gain access to exclusive viewing areas at the NFL Draft Main Stage, so they may watch in person as the picks unfold and Draft boards come to life. The Fan Mobile Pass app will be available in mid-April. All fans who pre-register will be notified when the app is available. Fans may register today at NFL.com/FanMobilePass.”
